Parents’ Day Out
Parents’ Day Out operates three classes for infants and toddlers on Mondays and Thursdays between 9:00 and 2:00. The program was initiated in March 1987 under the volunteer management of Wini Wood. Siblings of children who are in, or have been in the program, receive first consideration for openings, followed by parishioners, and then anyone else who is interested. For enrollment information or to get on the waiting list, contact Wini Wood.
Nursery – Ten children from 2-18 months of age at the start of the session are cared for by three adults, Betty Cuan, Isabel Flores, and Ana Flores. Only two children under seven months will be enrolled. Children play, eat and sleep.
St. Michael’s Room – Eight children, ages 18 months to two years are in the care of Angie Magallan and Shujia Pan. The children play, eat, experience art, finger plays, singing, outdoor play and nap.
Laura’s Corner – Fifteen children, ages two and three are in the care of Estela Trejo and Candy Menjivar. The children play, eat, experience art, finger plays, rhythm instruments, singing, play outdoors and nap.
Enrollment for 2011-2012 session requires a $40.00 non-refundable annual registration fee and $240.00 (2 day) or $120.00 (1 day) tuition deposit which pays for the last month of the session. Fall session begins September 8, 2011.
