ONE-DAY DISCOVERY CLASS
One-Day Discovery Class
Saturday, Sept. 28th with
The Rev. Lane Hensley &
The Rev. Cynthia Caruso
“What Does it Mean to Be an Episcopalian?”
Father Hensley and Madre Cynthia will conduct a “One-Day Discovery Class” for anyone interested in learning more about the Episcopal Church on Saturday, September 28th! This one-day class is designed for newcomers, the curious, and those Episcopalians who would like a “refresher course.” It’s also a great occasion to bring a friend or relative who’s been “wondering” about the Episcopal Church. We’ll gather at 8:30 a.m. and begin our Day of Discovery at 9:00 a.m. We’ll have lunch together and end at 3:00 p.m. If interested, please contact Mona Myers at 512-476-3589, ext. 108, or email her at [email protected]. For more information, contact Fr. Lane Hensley at [email protected] or Madre Cynthia at [email protected]
Importantly, the Class will serve as the required instruction for Confirmation or Reception into the Episcopal Church (one is “Received” if one has already been Confirmed in another Church). However, one need not be Confirmed or Received if attending the class. Please prayerfully consider
if it’s time to be confirmed or received – or as some would say, “become an official Episcopalian.” Our Clergy would be glad to talk with you or anyone about the Sacrament of Confirmation and Reception.
It has now been confirmed that the Rt. Rev. C. Andrew Doyle, Bishop of the Diocese of Texas, will be visiting All Saints' on Sunday, October 27th and will be our guest preacher and officiant at Confirmations and Receptions.
