Encouragement from the 2023 Stewardship Committee
Beloved of All Saints’ —
We, and the world around us, have been through so much. Pandemic; political turmoil and economic upheaval; and reckonings with injustices that live on from our past, infect our present, and shadow our future. Hope can seem hard to justify in this day and age. And yet, at the same time, there is a feeling of renewal, the green blade rising at All Saints’. We are once more experiencing the familiar and familial joy of each other’s loving presence. Our new Rector and Associate Rector have arrived, music rises to our rafters, and children roam our aisles. Formation and fellowship opportunities feed our souls and we continue to feed the hungry and care for the poor. We tap the infinite wellspring of hope that stems from our faith. We are rewarded by gifts unobtainable from any other source.
With our gratitude for this immeasurable grace comes a sense of duty: Christ has work for us to do and calls us forward in mission and ministry. Please look at our Stewardship guide for information about where we are and our faithful response to God’s call in the coming year.
As you look at the images and absorb the information, ponder the legacy of those who came before us. Consider the legacy we are leaving to those who will follow. Cherish the contributions of our dedicated staff who make everything work. Recognize the imprint you have made, and savor again the blessing of the One in whose name you made it. Hear God’s call to the flourishing of everyone in our parish family and our wider community. Pray and discern what your role can be. Join us in giving generously in time, talent, and treasure.
Yours in Christ,
