The Rev. Genevieve Razim
All Saints’ announced the call of their 15th Rector, The Rev. Genevieve Razim, on All Saints’ Day, 2021.
Prior to serving at All Saints’, Genevieve served as Interim Rector of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, Lake Jackson, Texas; Canon for Welcome & Evangelism at Christ Church Cathedral, Houston; Associate Rector at Trinity Episcopal Church, The Woodlands; and Associate Rector at Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church, Houston. She was ordained in the Diocese of Texas in 2007. Before attending seminary at Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Rev. Razim was a Senior Designer with The Richards Group and the Graphic Designer at the Dallas Museum of Art.
Rev. Razim currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Seminary of the Southwest and The Compass Rose Society. Her previous service to the wider Episcopal Church includes two terms on the Standing Committee of the Diocese of Texas and two terms on the Board of Directors of Episcopal Relief & Development.
Rev. Razim is a native (7th generation) Texan and lifelong Episcopalian. Her mother, The Rev. Sharon Turner, is also an Episcopal priest. Genevieve is known for raising up leaders and is recognized for her productivity, creativity, and innovation. Her scriptural and theological grounding is clear: Romans 8:39 Nothing can separate you from the love of God in Jesus Christ, and our baptismal call to serve Christ in all persons and to respect the dignity of every human being. Rev. Razim and her husband Ed, a tax attorney, have been married for 30 years and have two adult sons. They enjoy cooking, entertaining, and adventures on their bicycles.
