2024 Stewardship
God’s grace is indeed manifold — much like the varied and beautiful colors illuminated in our stained glass windows. As we gaze into the future, we place our trust in God’s steadfast love and abundant grace that surrounds us. We hear God’s call to be good stewards of all that has been given to us, supporting one another and everyone who comes to All Saints’ in their life in Christ.
Guests are becoming members, our ministries are strengthening, and we are discovering and rediscovering our gifts and potential as a parish. It is with renewed wonder that we contemplate how the Holy Spirit is moving among us and how we can be faithful to the future that God is calling us to.
Priorities within the 2024 Budget include:
- Visioning Process for All Saints’
- Children, Youth & Family Ministry
- Pastoral Care & Christian Formation Ministry
We’re placing our pledge dollars into ministries and building up life at All Saints’. With God’s grace, may this good parish always shine brightly as a welcoming spiritual home to all of God’s children.

MAKE A PLEDGE
You are asked to pray over, complete, and return a pledge during the month of October and no later than Loyalty Sunday, November 12, so that the Finance Committee of the Vestry can prepare the 2024 budget.
Ways to make your pledge (intent to give)
When it comes to making your pledge for the upcoming year, there are many options available.
You can make your pledge right now. Push the button, fill out the short form and submit your pledge.
You can also complete and sign a 2024 pledge card and place it in the offering plate during any church service at All Saints’ or return it in an envelope to the parish office at 209 W. 27th St., Austin, TX 78705.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PLEDGE AND A GIFT?
A pledge states an intent to give that All Saints' can rely on for creating an annual operating budget, ensuring the ability to meet our monthly financial obligations.
Gifts are welcome and wonderful surprises!
But because of their unexpected nature, they do not assist the Finance Committee of the Vestry to create a clear and realistic financial plan for the parish.
HEALTHY STRIDES ARE BEING MADE.
A healthy stride was made last year to narrow the gap between between pledges and actual cost of ministries, staff, and programs. We hope to continue this trend, allowing more endowment funds to be available for repairs and improvements for our aging physical properties.
WHAT DOES THE ENDOWMENT PROVIDE?
The single most important source of funding for our ministries comes from the pledges made during our annual stewardship campaign. From the income generated from the corpus, All Saints’ Endowment supports the operating budget. Until last year, conditions required that we request additional funds from the Endowment to shore up pledge short-falls in order to continue ministries such as Children & Youth Formation, Mission & Outreach, Communications & Evangelism. Endowment funds are best used for repairing and maintaining our aging physical properties, and for unforeseen emergencies.
PUT YOUR IRA CHARITABLE BENEFIT TO GOOD USE.
If you’re 70 1⁄2 or older and have an IRA, you have a unique opportunity to make a significant impact while reducing your taxes. Time is of the essence – you must act before December 31 to reap the benefits this year. The IRA Charitable Rollover allows you to contribute funds from your IRA directly to a charity, all while avoiding taxes on the transfer. This year, you can transfer up to $100,000 to support All Saints’ and our endowment. Not only does this generous gift help advance our mission and vision, but it can also count towards your required distribution, effectively lowering your income and tax liability.
Making an IRA charitable rollover gift is both simple and impactful. To get started and make a difference this year with your IRA, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly or get in touch with your IRA administrator. Thank you for considering this meaningful way to support All Saints’.
In Thanksgiving for the love and grace of God and in support of the ongoing life and ministry of Our Lord through All Saints’ Episcopal Church, please accept this as my (our) financial pledge.
